Grapes: 100% Sangiovese
Vinification: 7 days of alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, and 12 days of skin contact
Aging: 12 months, half in 500 and 2,500-liter barrels, and half in terracotta amphorae, and it’s ready for the market after a minimum of 6 months of bottle aging
Tasting Notes: Beautiful bright ruby red color, on the nose it presents a bouquet with scents of violet, sour cherry, small red berry fruits, ripe cherry, with herbaceous notes of Mediterranean scrubland and hints of sweet spices. On the palate, it expresses fruity aromas of great fragrance and finesse, leading to a fresh, savory finish with good persistence.
Pairing: Excellent with grilled meats and roasts, with braised red meats, perfect with game dishes.
