Capitoni Marco Orcia DOC (2015)
Grapes: Sangiovese 80%, Merlot 20%
Vinification: after a delicate crushing-destemming, the grapes fermented in steel vats at a controlled temperature for 18 days. During this period we carried out manual pumping over and punching down, fermentation in a natural way with indigenous yeasts, without any addition of selected yeasts, aging in barrique for 24 months, then in bottle for another 12 months in a thermo-conditioned environment.
Tasting notes: When tasted, the wine is full-bodied, with aromas reminiscent of red and black fruits, hints of toasting, light spiciness, harmony and balance with richly flavored extensions. This latter characteristic is due precisely to the particularity of the land where the vines live and which gives the wines a unique and very recognizable personality.
Format: 750 ml
