Poor dish, coming from the tuscan farming tradition, Panzanella is a country meal with old wet bread with water adding seasonal vegetables.

In the farming cooking “we do not waste nothing”, in fact stale bread get wet with water and then squizzed adding summer vegetables: tomatos, salads, celery, cucumbers, basil, red onion and extra virgin olive oil. Add salt and pepper at your preference. A perfect summer recipe, easy and fast, to be prepared in advance and served cold.

“Canna Torta” by Podere Le Ripi is a new orange wine that comes from a blend of Malvasia and Trebbiano . The characteristic amber color derives from the prolonged contact for 8 months with the marc in the terracotta containers in which the wine macerates. On the nose, notes of honey and aromatic herbs prevail while the mouth is characterized as a light red.
