24 October 2016Antolini Amarone DOCG “Moropio”
Grapes: Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella and, in small percentage, Molinara.
Tasting notes: Amarone “Moròpio” has a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections, an intense and complex aroma, with hints of dried flowers, black cherry and sour cherry jam, notes of sweet spices, Boer chocolate, cinchona, forest flower honey and very light scents of vine bark and green olive. Its flavor is typically Marano due to its penetrating acidity and finesse, dry, bordering on sweet, warm and soft, with good freshness and velvety tannins.
Pairings: It is suggested to serve it at a temperature of 18/20 ° C, to taste it with game and stewed, braised, jugged or grilled red meats, seasoned and slightly spicy cheeses but to try it also paired with donkey stew.
Format: 750 ml
