Grapes: 100% Sangiovese
Vinification: Hand-picked grapes, selected in the vineyard and cellar, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel and oak vats, with very long macerations and frequent pumping over. Racking followed by second malolactic fermentation in steel and oak vats. Aged in oak barrels for 60 months and bottled for 12 months. No filtration.
Tasting Notes: Bright ruby ​​red in color, the nose is intense and complex with aromas of red fruit jam and floral and spicy notes. On the palate, it expresses great structure, substantial tannins, and a decisive acidity. Very persistent finish with a mineral aftertaste.
Pairings: Excellent with roasted red meats, braised meats, and game.
