Vine varieties: Sangiovese 100%
Winemaking: spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration for 20-25 days in open wooden vats. Initially, 80% of the fermentation is accompanied by open pumping over while the final part takes place with a submerged cap (Piedmontese). Aging for 24 months in large Vosges oak barrels, followed by 18 months in concrete tanks.
Tasting Notes: intense ruby red in colour, intense on the nose with aromas of ripe red fruits and blood orange and floral notes of violet with balsamic and aromatic herbal notes and hints of oriental spices. On the palate it expresses great salinity, silky and well-balanced tannins, a good balance with a pleasantly bitter finish.
