Grapes: Sangiovese 100%
Vinification:long maceration on the pomace with frequent gradual pumping over; maximum temperature freely raised up to 32° C, followed by aging for 36 months in medium-large Slavonian and French oak barrels.
Tasting notes: Intense ruby red color tending towards garnet; on the nose it is elegant and fruity, very intense and complex with balsamic notes; great structure on the palate, elegant and harmonious, very persistent.
Pairing: stewed red meats and game, mature cheeses. Uncork the bottle at least two hours before in order to aerate the wine.
