Aging: in large Slavonian oak and French oak barrels of 12 to 54 hectoliters for approximately 3 years, followed by refinement in the bottle for at least 8 months.
Tasting Notes: intense ruby red in colour, on the nose it has aromas of dark berries and spicy notes of vanilla and caramel. In the mouth it is robust, warm, with a long taste-olfactory persistence.
Pairings: excellent with meat-based dishes, even stewed, or a wild boar ragout. Perfect with a cut of meat or a Florentine steak.
