Grape Variety: 100% Sangiovese
Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with maceration for a maximum of 20 days and subsequent malolactic fermentation. Aged for 12 months in oak and another 12 months in Slavonian oak, with further aging in bottle for an additional 12 months.
Tasting Notes: Garnet red in color with orange highlights, it expresses floral aromas of violet, fruity notes of plum, raspberry, cherries in alcohol, and dried fruit, spicy notes of pink pepper and cloves, with notes of cigar, leather, and undergrowth. On the palate, it reveals an excellent structure, with rounded yet firm tannins and a long, persistent finish.
Pairings: Perfect with game and roasted red meats, excellent paired with truffle-based dishes.
