The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG of the Tenuta di Sesta comes from an accurate agronomic work in the three best vineyards registered in the Brunello Register present in the company. Since the Duelecci vineyard was the best among these for several years, it was decided to dedicate this prestigious bottle to it. The vineyard has an excellent exposure, extending on the gentle slope of a hill on the southern side of Montalcino where all the vineyards of the property reside. The Riserva Duelecci will be produced, depending on the seasonal trend, either in the east or in the west of this vineyard: in fact the very stony soil on the east side lends itself to this destination in the cooler years, while on the west side the soil less rich in skeleton, it best expresses its qualitative potential in the driest years. The Riserva di Brunello DUELECCI EST or DUELECCI OVEST will define the character of the vintage already on the label.
