Poggione Rosso di Montalcino DOC is produced only with Sangiovese grapes from the youngest vineyards of the company.
Grapes: Sangiovese 100%
Vinification : A “submerged cap” in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts at a controlled temperature of 25/28 ° C. Malolactic fermentation in steel.
Refinement : In French oak barrels and barriques, followed by a period of refinement in the bottle.
Tasting Notes : intense ruby red color, the nose expresses notes of red berried fruits. The taste has good structure, with velvety tannins, and persistence.
Pairings : excellent with first courses based on meat sauce, roasts, grilled meats, medium-aged cheeses.
