A Brunello that comes from the company’s vineyards which zoning studies, begun in 1980, have identified as the most suitable for Sangiovese.
Grapes: 100% Sangiovese
Vinification: controlled temperature fermentation (25-30°) in combined steel and Horizon French oak vats. Aged at 40% in 60 and 90 hl French oak barrels. and 60% in. 350 l French oak barrique. for a minimum of 30 months.
Tasting notes: bright ruby red in colour, the nose is complex and expresses hints of plum, cherry and small red fruits, accompanied by balsamic, citrus and tobacco notes. In the mouth it is soft and balanced with an excellent taste-olfactory persistence.
Pairings: long-aging wine, perfect as a meditation wine. Excellent with rich, structured dishes and particularly savory gastronomic products such as mature cheeses or cured meats.
