Vineyards: 11.69 hectares boast the term “Pianrosso”, located in medium-textured soils and marl of Eocene origin between 240 and 360 meters above sea level.

Grape variety: 100% Sangiovese

Vinification: In stainless steel containers and vitrified concrete tanks at a controlled temperature using cooling jackets and immersion plates. This is followed by aging in Slavonian oak barrels of 7.5 to 62 hl for approximately 3 years and refinement in the bottle for more than 8 months.

Tasting notes: ruby red in color with garnet reflections, on the nose it presents aromas of red fruit jam and aromatic herbs with notes of undergrowth, graphite and dark spices. On the palate it is elegant, with silky and well-pronounced tannins and a long fruity and balsamic finish.
Pairing: Ideal with land dishes based on red meat or game. Also excellent with mature cheeses.
