The “regular” Brunello Fuligni, aged for 4 years as required by law, of which 2 and a half and sometimes even 3, in wood, presents characteristics of excellent longevity, but is also intended for a more immediate consumption, compared to the “Riserva”, in its elegant synthesis of fruit and spicy hints, Brunello Fuligni is the result of important, carefully selected grapes from low yields per hectare and was not produced in years in which the quality level of the grapes harvested did not seem adequate to maintain the ‘high corporate standard.
Grapes: Sangiovese 100%
Vinification: Vinification in thermo-conditioned stainless steel vats, followed by an aging of at least 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: bright and inviting ruby red color, the nose introduces elegant aromas of peony, blueberry, Mediterranean scrub, licorice and juniper berries; in the mouth it offers warm sensations, it is balanced and caressing thanks to the well integrated and lively tannins. Medium-long finish with hints of fruit and cinchona.
