A Brunello that comes from the company’s vineyards that zoning studies, begun in 1980, have identified as the most suitable for Sangiovese.
Grape Variety: 100% Sangiovese
Vinification: Temperature-controlled fermentation (25-30°C) in combined stainless steel and French oak Horizon vats. Aged 40% in 60 and 90 hl French oak barrels and 60% in 350 liter French oak barriques for a minimum of 30 months.
Tasting Notes: Bright ruby red in color, the nose is complex and expresses aromas of plum, cherry, and small red fruits, accompanied by balsamic, citrus, and tobacco notes. On the palate, it displays great structure and silky tannins, soft and balanced with excellent persistence.
Pairings: A wine for long aging, perfect as a meditation wine. Excellent with rich, structured dishes and particularly savory foods such as aged cheeses or cured meats.
