Grape varieties: Sangiovese 100%
Winemaking: the hand-picked and selected grapes ferment for 15/20 days “with a submerged cap” in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts at a controlled temperature of 25/28 °C. Malolactic fermentation always takes place in steel. This is followed by a long refinement in large 30 and 50 hl French oak barrels and subsequently a period of refinement in the bottle.
Tasting Notes: ruby red in colour, the nose expresses intense aromas of red fruit, leather and spices. In the mouth it denotes a good structure and great tannins, it is warm, intense, complex, fine, balanced and with perfect harmony.
Pairing: Red meats, game, mature cheeses.
Format: 750 ml
