Grapes: Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio
Vinification: Destemming, partial pressing, fermentation in concrete tanks with maceration for approximately two weeks and further pressing, maturation for approximately 12 months in large barrels and subsequent aging for approximately 3 months in the bottle.
Tasting Notes: Ruby red in color with subtle purple reflections, the nose expresses floral aromas of violet and fruity notes of small red fruits, morello cherry, and black cherry. On the palate, it shows great balance with beautiful tannins, great flavor, and a long finish.
Pairings: Ideal with red meats, cheeses, and cured meats.
