“Villa Montosoli” is a wine produced with grapes from a single vineyard located on the top of the famous hill of Montosoli in Montalcino, with vines over 40 years old
Grapes: Sangiovese with small percentages of local varieties such as Colorino, Ciliegiolo, Canaiolo.
Vinification: spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Maceration at a temperature of 30/33 ° for about 20 days. with frequent pumping over and punching down. Aging for 24 months in French oak tonneaux
Tasting notes: Wine with a clear color , ruby red tending to garnet, with an intense, persistent, ample, enveloping aroma, with aromas of undergrowth, tones of jam fruit and spicy finish. Rich, elegant taste, rightly tannic with a long aromatic persistence
