The Calvarino vineyard is located in the heart of the classic Soave area and represents for the company the ancient family fund, purchased in 1901. The name Calvarino derives from “little Calvary”, due to the difficulty of tillage and the winding path to reach the bottom. The first label dates back to 1971 and represents the most faithful and authentic expression of Soave wine.
Grapes: Garganega 70% Trebbiano di Soave 30%
Tasting notes: Straw yellow color with bright gold-green reflections. Fresh, floral scent, wide bouquet with hints of elderberry, limoncella apple, pear, on a background of hazelnut and almond. Fresh, elegant savory, well balanced flavor with a long and persistent return to the limoncella apple .
Pairings: eclectic in pairings, ideal as an aperitif, perfect with vegetable flans, delicate fish, shellfish, cheese soufflé. Exciting with the Veronese dish, risotto and asparagus.
Format: 750 ml
