Brunello of great power, purebred thoroughbred, with an intense and composite aroma, gives us notes of ripe plum and berries enhanced by the soft sensation of blond tobacco and antique leather. On the palate it is rich and concentrated, with a rigorous structure, supported by a densely woven tannic texture that extends into a long savory and elegant finish.
Only the old vines of Schiena d’Asino give birth to a wine that is unique in depth and length with an aging of 42 months in 16 hl Allier oak barrels and a 12-month aging in bottle.
Grapes: 100% Sangiovese (Brunello)
Tasting notes: deep red color, dense and transparent. Nose: Ripe red fruit and balsamic Mediterranean scrub. On the palate: noble and austere attack, full and savory, born to face time.
