The great light and the cool nights of September 2010 enhanced the noble austerity that only the old vines of Schiena d’Asino can and know how to transform into a wine that is unique in depth and length.
Grapes: 100% Sangiovese (Brunello)
Aging: 42 months in 16 hl Allier oak barrels and 12 months in bottle.
Tasting notes: deep red color, dense and transparent. Nose: Ripe red fruit and balsamic Mediterranean scrub. On the palate: noble and austere attack, full and savory, born to face time.
