Le Berne Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG (2019)

Grape varieties: 100% Sangiovese with small quantities of traditional vines of the denomination.
Vinification: harvest carried out during the second week of October. Spontaneous fermentation thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts, long maceration on the skins, with intense initial pumping over and punching down.
Maturation: 24 months both in large Slavonian oak barrels and in smaller oak barrels.
Tasting notes: Intense ruby red colour, intense on the nose with notes of dark fruit and spices. In the mouth it has an excellent body, soft, broad, with balanced tannins and good taste-olfactory persistence.
Pairing: excellent with structured meat dishes and mature cheeses
