Bolgheri Rosso Ca’Marcanda is an integral part of Angelo Gaja’s great winemaking experience
Grapes: Merlot 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Cabernet Franc 10%
Vinification: Fermentation takes place separately, following the different ripening periods of the grapes. Before bottling, the wine ages for 18 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting notes: Intense ruby red color, hints of red fruits and wild berries on the nose, with a toasted coffee base and spicy incense, very balanced taste, with tannins in evidence for softness
Pairings: Roasted and grilled red meats, game and aged cheeses.
