Castello Romitorio Rosso di Montalcino DOC (2017)
The Castello Romitorio Rosso di Montalcino is a wine made from 100% Sangiovese grapes, and as such is very close to the nature and character of Brunello di Montalcino. It spends its first year of aging in oak wood to acquire the complexity necessary for a possible further aging in the bottle.
Grapes: 100% Sangiovese
Tasting notes: ruby red color, a pleasant and well-composed nose, based on intense aromas of red and purple fruits that evolve with refinement in the bottle towards hints of dried plum. p>
Pairings: modern and complex dishes such as pasta with meat sauce, game, and any other type of meat.
Format: 750 ml
