Castello Romitorio Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva (2010) Magnum
Only a careful selection of the best grapes from a truly exceptional harvest can give life to the Castello Romitorio Brunello di Montalcino Riserva which is released on the market the sixth year after the harvest and aged for a minimum of 36 months in oak barrels.
Grapes: 100% Sangiovese
Tasting notes: intense ruby red with light garnet reflections, with great consistency, the Riserva gives us a wonderful bouquet: hints of undergrowth, nuances of ripe fruit, small red fruit jam and blacks, aromatic wood and lavender blend harmoniously, thanks to a careful refinement, spicy and ethereal aromas.
Dry and warm, soft and elegant in its tannic component, characterized by overwhelming “balanced freshness”, it leaves complex and articulated taste-olfactory sensations for a long time.
A wine ready to be consumed and appreciated but above all destined for further evolution to achieve its maximum expression.
Pairings: structured and composite dishes such as red meats and game, possibly accompanied by mushrooms. Excellent pairing with cheeses such as aged tome and Tuscan pecorino. Moreover, due to its characteristics, it is possible to appreciate it as a meditation wine.
Format: 1500 ml
