An intense and deep Supertuscan that perfectly represents the potential of the three grape varieties that compose it
Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Syrah
Soil: with sandy clays and rounded pebbles
Training system: spurred cordon – Banfi sapling Plant density: 4200 cp / ha.
Yield per hectare: 60 q / ha.
Vinification: fermentation at controlled temperature (25-30 °) in combined steel vats and Horizon French oak, followed by aging in wood in 350-liter French oak barrels for 18 months about ..
Tasting Notes: The result is a wine characterized by varietal aromas; the intense fruity scents are accompanied by notes of jam, spices, pipe tobacco and coffee. Imposing structure, with important but sweet tannins.
Pairing: Wine with long aging perfect in combination with meat first courses, such as spaghetti with rabbit ragù in white sauce or vegetable-based second courses, such as stuffed tomatoes or vegetable ratatouille. p>
