Capanna Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG (2013)
Grapes: 100% Sangiovese harvested in the oldest vineyards and only in the best vintages.
Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation with maceration of the skins (30-35 days) at a controlled temperature and spontaneous malolactic fermentation, both in truncated conical Slavonian oak vats.
Aging: In Slavonian oak barrels of 10 to 25 hl for 40 months; it follows an aging in bottle of at least 15 months.
Tasting notes: has an intense and lively ruby color, a very intense and complex nose, fruity and spicy, with notes of red fruits, jam and licorice; great prospects for future evolution, on the palate there is a great structure in the acid-tannic components, well supported by the soft ones; very persistent.
Pairings: roasted red meats, game, very aged cheeses.
