Avignonesi Cassa Vintage 25esimo “Desiderio” Toscana IGT (2013)

The label of Merlot Desiderio Avignonesi, with the iconic figure of a large white Chianina bull, is inspired by the true story of the Desiderio bull, who lived on the estate more than a hundred years ago and is considered one of the progenitors of the Chianina breed , typical of the area. For the first vintages of Merlot Desiderio the label changed slightly every year, adding a different color or a new detail to the original design.

For this special commemorative case, designed for the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Desiderio, the 2013 vintage was adorned with some of the most beautiful labels of the past. The label with the orange sky is from 1989, while the one with the blue sky is from 1990. The collage labels with the olives and the Three Graces are from 1992 and 1993 respectively and the white label dates back to 1996.
